Inclusive Basketball Training

My name is Eliza Wooden, Stadium Manager of Port Adelaide Recreation Centre. I am looking at starting up an Inclusive Basketball Program as of July 2019. Starting on March 29th I will be starting some Inclusive Basketball Skills Sessions to teach everyone the sport of basketball as well as build numbers.

I currently am the Competition Managers of the Inclusive Basketball Program at Pasadena Sports Centre on Monday nights. I umpired the program for 6 years before taking on the Customer Service Officer Role selling tickets in the program in 2014. I was given the opportunity to take on the Competitions Manager in 2015 and since then have grown from 13 teams to 15 teams and have over 120 players.

We welcome everyone of any age with an intellectual or physical disability.

Within this program Basketball SA wish to not only encourage people to play the sport of Basketball but also teach important life lessons.
